Thursday Excitement

Good Morning Everyone…

I’m sitting in a hotel room right across the street from VMI!  Yep… It’s madness over here!

I didn’t think I would be here!  I actually didn’t quite believe I would be here!

It’s one of those… pinch me kind of days!

I had planned a different blog BUT because technology isn’t my thing, I thought I would write up a little out of office TEASER if you will!

So here it is and I here I am!

Sitting in my hotel bed, with my coffee from the delicious breakfast surrounded by my laptop, 4 notebooks (yes 4) and a bunch of outfits!

I have 2 pens, 3 pencils and 2 hard drives!

I’m listening to a mix of Jason Mraz and Jack Johnson on my i-phone and I’ve been up all night tossing and turning!

I went to bed late trying to get prepared for my mentoring session this morning (I won’t tell you with who yet) but it’s going to be a huge game changer for me!

I really did have to prepare and I filled an entire notebook!

So… I’m bringing a fresh one today without any markings in it.

As Anne (with an e) would say… today is a fresh day without any mistakes in it… yet!

I am ready to make some mistakes and show off the ones I made last year in order to grow this year!

I leave my room in a little less than 30 min. to take me 3 minutes down the road where I might just cry, throw up and cry again when I meet with these amazing people!

YES.. I’m nervous as heck!  But in such a great way!

I drove yesterday and because I’m a planner I talked to myself the whole way up here!  I know, I’m a nerd that way!  I worked out all my questions and my struggles and all my goals!  I was prepared.

Then last night, as I wrote it all down… I kind of came undone!

I can’t wait to see what happens!

Big things this year I think!  Big things!

So wish me luck as I begin to pack all my mess up!
